Highlights from Air Legend Paris – Villaroche 2022, one of Europe’s biggest and best warbird airshows. A focus on classic jets and post-war aircraft saw rarities such as the Sabre, Skyraider, Bronco, Vampire, T-33 and Paris join the line up, while Second World War fighters on display included the Spitfire, P-47D Thunderbolt, P-51D Mustang, Corsair, Yak-3 and more.
The French Navy paid tribute to Top Gun with a special set piece display involving three Rafales, while the Air Force provided theRafale C and the Patrouille de France. The modern air force’s A400M also topped off a chronological review of transport aircraft through the ages, also featuring the Electra, Dakota, Noratlas and Flamant.
