Highlights from the Southport Airshow 2022, the first European airshow in almost a decade to host the ROKAF Black Eagles. The RAF Red Arrows and Typhoon proved memorable with some fantastic vapour, while top-quality warbird contributions came from the Norwegian Air Force Historical Squadron’s MiG-15, Peter Teichman’s P-51D Mustang and the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight with a Spitfire, Hurricane and Lancaster. Rich Goodwin and the Blades provided entertaining aerobatics to cap off the day’s flying.
