RAF Typhoon solo display heading to Canada to mark RCAF centenary

The RAF Typhoon solo display team will be making their North American airshow debut this year with an appearance at the Spectacle Aérien International de Bagotville (SAIB).

SAIB, scheduled for the 22nd-23rd June 2024, will be the team’s only appearance in North America. However, they will be followed several weeks later by the RAF Red Arrows, who will tour eastern Canada from mid-August until mid-September.

Both visits mark the Royal Canadian Air Force’s 100th anniversary, with the RCAF always having enjoyed strong links with the RAF.

The team said: “This year, we are excited to announce we have accepted the invitation to perform at the Spectacle Aérien International de Bagotville, in the province of Quebec. We’ve dusted off the French dictionaries, we’re watching the NHL, we are so excited to hop over the pond to celebrate the 100th anniversary of our friends, the RCAF. We are honoured to be invited to share in the celebration of the centenary.”

The rest of the Typhoon solo display schedule is expected to be announced shortly.
