Highlights from the Midlands Air Festival, held at Ragley Hall near Alcester.
This year, the Midlands Air Festival hosted the first display of the year by the RAF Red Arrows, as well as a flypast by two Typhoons and performances by the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight. A Sabre made its first UK flying display appearance for over a decade, plus there was a chance to see the Commemorative Air Force’s R4D “Ready for Duty” during its European tour. Rotary highlights included a Sea King and the Flying Bulls’ Bo105.
Twilight shows also feature, with Airborne Pyrotechnics and Chris Burkett taking to the air at dusk.
