Highlights from the Quinte International Airshow at CFB Trenton, one of the biggest Canadian airshows of the RCAF 100 anniversary year.
Arguably, the headliners came from abroad: Italy’s Frecce Tricolori and the USAF’s Viper Demo Team. But the home team also put on a good show, with the Snowbirds, CC-130, CC-177, CH-146 and CF-188 all taking to the air.
Warbirds on show included the Lancaster, B-25 Mitchell and Firefly from the CWHM and the Spitfire, P-51 Mustang and Hurricane from the Victory Flight. As well as a 6-ship performance, the three Victory Flight fighters joined up in formation with the Hornet.
