The Yakstars are a civilian aerobatic team based in Ponte de Sor, Portugal, founded in 2015. The team fly three Yak-52s at airshows and events in Portugal. The team’s pilots are Pedro Cerveira Pinto (lead), Fernando Marinho Pereira (left wingman) and Jorge Fachadas (right wingman). The display consists mostly of three-ship formation aerobatics, but two-ship and solo aerobatics alternate at times. Manoeuvres include the Break Crosses, Bombshell, Vertical Break and Mass Attack.
