The Yakstars are a civilian aerobatic team based in Ponte de Sor, Portugal, founded in 2015. The team flew three Yak-52s at airshows and events in Portugal, later expanding to four.  The display consists mostly of precise formation aerobatics, but two-ship and solo aerobatics alternate at times. Manoeuvres include the Break Crosses, Bombshell, Vertical Break and Mass Attack.

In the early 2020s, the Yakstars subsumed the airshow operations of a Spanish Yak-52 aerobatic association, Jacob52. This has allowed them to display with up to ten aircraft at times (though typically four to six is more normal).
