The Polish Air Force’s relatively new M346 Bielek demonstration team has had a fatal accident during a training flight.
The aircraft crashed during an aerobatic manoeuvre in Babich-Doły air base, Gdynia, Poland, on the 12th July as it practiced for the air base’s open day the following afternoon. Major Pilot Robert Jeł was killed in the crash.
The team made its debut at the Radom Airshow 2023, and is now in its first full season of displays.
