Highlights from Paris – Villaroche Air Legend 2023, featuring more than 30 piston warbirds, an extraordinary formation of classic jets and several top-quality military performances.
Among the many highlights, three acts stand out: one was a 40 minute sequence telling the story of early jet development, featuring the Me262, Sabre and MiG-15; another was a 40 minute French Navy segment, featuring Rafales, a Hawkeye and two classic jets, and a third was B-17G Flying Fortress “Sally B”, marking the type’s first participation in a French airshow for over a decade. The 70th anniversary of the Patrouille de France was marked by the participation not only of the acclaimed team themselves, but also by a four-ship display of Fouga Magisters.
