The first major British airshow of the year was the Midlands Air Festival, held in the grounds of the Ragley Hall estate. Display debuts for the year included the Red Arrows and newly-painted Typhoon solo display, while warbird fans were delighted by the return to airshows of B-17G “Sally B” and the first public appearance of Peter Teichman’s “Russian Spitfire”.
