In the rollercoaster year that is 2020, the UK’s first traditional flying display of the year took place at Duxford on the 4th August. The first of three planned “Showcase Days”, this halfway-house between a full airshow and a normal museum day featured several aerial performances, a fly-in and pleasure flights. Displays paid tribute to the 100th anniversary of the founding of de Havilland and the 80th anniversary of the Battle of Britain. Classic racing and aerobatic aircraft also featured.
