The traditional season opener of the British airshow season also marks the start of series two of Airshow Dispatches. The 2019 Abingdon Air and Country Show was the final edition of the event to feature a full flying display, and the event organisers brought together an varied mix of unusual aircraft to mark the occasion. This included the airshow debut of a newly-restored NA-64 Yale, the first display in several years by an RAF Tucano and the first four-ship display from the Historic Army Aircraft Flight since the aircraft moved to the civil register.
