This is Flight is one of the biggest repositories of airshow information, from news articles and jet team schedules to in-depth feature articles, event reviews and detailed visitor guides for airshows around the world.
TIF FILM UNIT
Our specialist aviation film unit has worked with some of the biggest performers, event organisers and broadcasters in aviation, creating promotional material, supplying footage and manning cameras.
WHO ARE WE?
Founded in 2013, This is Flight is a collection of passionate aviation photographers, videographers and journalists based around the world. Initially an e-magazine focussing on airshow news and reviews, we expanded in 2017 to begin making high-quality free-to-view airshow documentaries for our own websitie and for WingsTV.
In 2021, after several years of preparation, we also began offering professional video services, including drone, air-to-air and ground-to-air filming, providing footage to the likes of the BBC, Smithsonian, Paramount, the Air Race World Championships and the British Gliding Association. We are the video providers for Paris Air Legend and the Midlands Air Festival, and we have manned cameras for the official live broadcasts of the Royal International Air Tattoo, Duxford Battle of Britain Airshow, the Jersey International Air Display and NATO Days in Ostrava, among others.
