As airshow enthusiasts first and foremost, and as proud members of the British Air Display Association, we are committed to improving standards, facilitating innovation and securing the future of British air displays. This is why we have introduced a scheme to offer free and discounted media services to new display pilots and our fellow BADA members.
We are offering free promotional video for new display pilots, which can be used for general publicity, to pitch to EOs, and to be used by public events to publicise TDA acts they have booked. For single-crew, one day shoots, only expenses will be charged. The offer is open to any pilot who holds a Tyro Display Authorisation (TDA), is a member of BADA and does not already have a suitable promotional video.
Below is an example of a promotional video created for Christophe Simon of Mach 0.2 Aviation in March 2022. Christophe performed his first airshow in 2021 and we are delighted that our promotional video helped him secure a booking for his final TDA appearance; thanks to that booking, he was granted a full Display Authorisation in June 2022.

In this case, for single-crew shoots, we will charge a day rate of only £150, plus expenses, which represents a 50% discount from our usual day rate.
