This year’s display aircraft, tail number 46 and callsign “Razzle Blade”, was unveiled on Thursday 28th January. The aircraft comes from 17 Squadron at Beauvechain. The Air Force said that the design, featuring modern grey camouflage, orange trim and a styalised wolf, was intended to be modern and attractive, helping to bridge the divide between young people and the armed forces.
Although the team’s schedule is yet to be confirmed, the Belgian Air Force said the aircraft will perform at Air Force Days at Florennes on the 26th-27th June, the Sanicole International Airshow on the 10th-12th September and other events celebrating the 75th anniversary of the air arm. The team are also expected to perform at a number of international events.
