LETHBRIDGE | The Lethbridge Airshow in Alberta, Canada, will be postponed until August 2020, it was announced today.
According to local news website Chat News Today, the decision was taken for a number of reasons, including the passing of board member and long-time volunteer Brent Botfield.
The organising team also said postponing the event would give them more time to secure support from the US and Canadian militaries. As it stood, none of the main US or Canadian military demonstration teams were due to perform at the show.
The show, which was scheduled for the 19th-20th July, will instead be held on the August Heritage Day long weekend. It will celebrate 75 years since the end of WWII.
